to help those who are in crisis
Pontypridd Foodbank is looking to set up 4 small teams of volunteers throughout the week - a team for Monday, one for Tuesday, one for Thursday and one for Friday.
Members of each team will
be available on their day between 3 pm and 4 pm at St Luke’s Church, Rhydyfelin
meet with clients and agencies who visit the foodbank centre
provide a warm welcome and listening ear
give out food parcels according to our procedures
complete the paperwork required
arrange with other members of the team to ensure at least 3 members are available each week
We will provide full training for those involved.

Pontypridd Foodbank is set up through the Trussell Trust to provide emergency food to those in the local area in short term crisis. Food is donated to the Foodbank which is then distributed to those in need as assessed by local professional agencies. Food parcels consist of sufficient food for the household for 3 days and is all long shelf life products. Pontypridd Foodbank is a part of the Parish of Glyntaff, Rhydyfelin and the Graig Registered charity 1150348.
